During the Rio Olympics, I have developed multiple design solutions to better surface ongoing live reporting on the website. Knowing that the major traffic comes through article, I have utilized an article template as a landing page and developed new modules to highlight Olympics contents. I have also added new features to our Live Coverage tool to better surface live news such as filter function to follow specific sporting events and various card options to support different media types.
